Ramones (40th Anniversary Edition)

Twenty-nine minutes of pure 1976 chaos, and "Blitzkrieg Bop" still hits like the first time I heard it. The 40th anniversary remaster gives the guitars a bit more bite without losing that raw garage feel.

Grabbed this for the tracklist alone — "Blitzkrieg Bop" and "Judy Is a Punk" still hit hard at this tempo. Wish the packaging had a bit more to it for a 40th anniversary, but the remastered sound is worth it.

The 40th anniversary disc sounds great, especially "Blitzkrieg Bop" and "Judy Is a Punk" — the guitars come through sharper than what I remember. Only gripe is the packaging; the booklet is pretty thin for an anniversary edition.
