Closer (CD)

Bought this for my dad's birthday and we ended up sitting in the car in the driveway just to finish "Mi Mancherai" before going inside. The track order flows really well, especially "Oceano" easing you in before "My Confession" picks things up.

Played this straight through on a rainy afternoon and "Oceano" alone was worth the purchase. The album version of "Per Te" builds so gently you barely notice the strings coming in.

The mix on "Mi Mancherai" sounds noticeably cleaner than the version I had on an old compilation, and the strings come through without any harshness. "When You Say You Love Me" is the one I keep replaying in the car. Disc arrived without a scratch and ripped to my library fine.
